About Travass Life

Travass Life is a travel agent operated under PT Jejak Antar Nusa, a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia and having its registered address in Jl. Alotanis Lingkungan 02, Labuan Bajo.

All bookings made under the Travass Life brand constitute a contractual agreement between the Traveler and Travass Life, which shall be the legal entity responsible for the provision of services, collection of payments, and enforcement of these Terms & Conditions.

Travass Life acts as a travel agent representing a curated selection of vessels and travel operators. As such, certain policies and regulations may vary depending on the operator and will follow their respective terms.

These Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure that every journey runs smoothly, safely, and transparently for all parties involved. By confirming a booking with us, you are entering into a formal agreement and accepting these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your travel group.

Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total trip price has been received by Travass Life (PT Jejak Antar Nusa), and an official confirmation has been issued.

Payment Terms

If payment is not completed within the specified timeframes, we reserve the right to release the booking and retain any payments already made.

All prices are stated in your invoice and must be paid in full before the trip begins. Any bank transfer fees, currency conversion costs, or transaction charges are the responsibility of the traveler, and the full invoiced amount must be received without deduction.

Cancellation by Travass Life

In the unlikely event that Travass Life is required to cancel a trip for any unavoidable reason, travelers will be offered one of the following options:

  • A full refund of all payments received; or
  • Transfer to an alternative trip, subject to the traveler’s agreement with any applicable price adjustment; or
  • Rescheduling of the trip to a future departure date within twelve (12) months, subject to availability.

No additional compensation, damages, or liabilities shall be payable beyond the options stated above. Travass Life shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by the traveler, including but not limited to flights, accommodations, or other third-party arrangements.

Itinerary Flexibility

Traveling in Indonesia and remote destinations depends on weather conditions, sea conditions, harbor authority regulations, and safety considerations.

Travass Life reserves the right to modify itineraries, routes, schedules, and activities at any time when deemed necessary for safety or operational reasons. Such changes shall not entitle travelers to any refund or compensation.

Fuel Surcharge Policy

Travass Life acts as a travel agent and will apply fuel surcharge policies as determined by the respective vessel and trip operator.

In the event of a significant increase in fuel prices in Indonesia, generally defined as an increase exceeding thirty percent (30%) from the rate at the time of booking confirmation, the relevant operator reserves the right to impose a fuel surcharge on confirmed bookings. Any applicable fuel surcharge is mandatory and forms part of the total trip cost. Travelers who wish to proceed with their booking are required to accept and settle the surcharge within the specified timeframe.

Travass Life will notify travelers in advance of any surcharge adjustment and provide details as communicated by the operator.

Travass Life will use reasonable efforts to ensure that any fuel surcharge applied remains fair and proportionate. In practice, such additional costs are typically shared between the vessel / trip operator and the traveler.

Failure to settle the surcharge within the specified timeframe may result in cancellation or release of the booking without refund.

External Conditions & Force Majeure

For the purpose of these Terms, Force Majeure Events refer strictly to events occurring within Indonesia that directly impact the operation, safety, or feasibility of the trip.

Events occurring outside Indonesia that do not directly affect travel operations within Indonesia shall not be considered valid grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation beyond the standard cancellation policy.

Certain events are beyond the reasonable control of Travass Life and the vessel/trip operators (“Force Majeure Events”), including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather conditions, including storms, high waves, or adverse sea conditions.
  • Natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, volcanic activity, or fires.

Travass Life and the vessel/trip operator shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience arising from Force Majeure Events.

Any additional costs arising from such events, including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, meals, or personal arrangements, shall be borne by the traveler.

If a Force Majeure Event does not affect travel operations within Indonesia, it will not be considered valid under this clause, and standard cancellation policies will apply.

Cancellation of Trip Due to Force Majeure

Only Force Majeure Events that directly impact the safety, feasibility, or operation of the trip within Indonesia shall be considered under this clause.

Travass Life and the vessel/trip operator reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any traveler whose behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, including but not limited to being under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol. No refund shall be provided in such cases.

Travelers are fully responsible for any loss or damage caused to the vessel, equipment, crew, other travelers, or third parties during the trip. Any costs, penalties, or charges arising from such damage or misconduct shall be determined by the vessel operator and must be paid in full by the responsible traveler.

Personal Belongings

Travelers are solely responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings at all times during the trip.

Travass Life and the vessel/trip operator shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or delay involving personal items, including but not limited to luggage, valuables, electronic devices, or documents.

Privacy
