PAPITON ALLO is the fourth addition to the Papiton Fleet Family, a well-established boat and travel company based in Labuan Bajo, the gateway to Komodo National Park.
As the largest and most luxurious vessel in the fleet, she marks a new chapter in Papiton’s journey. Completed in 2026, Papiton Allo was handcrafted by the renowned master boatbuilders of Ara Village, Bulukumba, the birthplace of the legendary phinisi, Indonesia’s traditional wooden sailing vessel.
Here, every timber is carefully shaped by hand using techniques passed down through generations, preserving one of the world’s last great living boatbuilding traditions and a maritime heritage found nowhere else in the world.
The name Allo, meaning “sun” in the Bugis language, the native language of many of the master boatbuilders, was chosen as a symbol of warmth, hope, and new beginnings. Just as the sun rises to begin each day, Papiton Allo was created with the hope that every guest embarks on a voyage filled with unforgettable moments, meaningful connections, and lasting memories.

Papiton Allo combines traditional Indonesian craftsmanship with comfortable modern living at sea. Handcrafted in Ara Village, Bulukumba, this 37.6-meter phinisi features eight private staterooms for up to 22 guests, including the spacious ALLO Signature with a private balcony and full sea views.
